A New York Minute

New York was beautiful this weekend! I met up with an old roommate Traci and later with a childhood friend Jenni Mae and it was fantastic!

Beautiful murals in the subway

We enjoyed riding the Staten Island Ferry each day

I just love Traci

We went on a walk to Central Park. The Park is definitely my favorite place in NYC!

We all had a great time on the carousel.

Love the Muirheads!

One of the greatest women in the world!

Can anyone say "The Apprentice"

My friend Map. The two of us hung out for a while, it was a very Prehistoric, non-Smartphone moment for me.

The 9/11 Memorial was extremely peaceful

Waiting for Hugh Jackman! AAAAAH!

We were standing so close to him, it was amazing!

I was so exhausted that I took a nap on the floor while we waited for the Staten Island Ferry

All in all it was a great trip to NYC to see some wonderful friends.

Remember That Time We Stormed the Castle...and Other Adventures

One of the best things to happen to me lately was a weekend trip to rustic Connecticut to see 2 of my favorite people, Ammon and Monica Hepworth.

Ashley and I joined the two of them in their newly bought house on 2 acres and went back in time to our BYU days at the BC.

The Awesome Fire Pit

And it wouldn't have been the same without 3 very magical objects.

The Ta-Da Cape, The Viking Helmet and The Lightsabers.

Let the adventures begin!

More magical moments!

Maybe I'm scared? No, I really wasn't. It was one of the most peaceful moments sitting out in the woods looking up at the stars and staying warm by the fire.

Love these ladies! Let's do it again soon.

p.s. Thanks Ash for providing a lot of these pics taken on your fancy camera. Wouldn't be a trip without your fabulous pics!
